ULM Honors Program recognizes seniors, outstanding students and faculty

The ULM Honors program held its annual Honors Banquet at ULM’s Bayou Pointe Event Center on April 29, 2024. The Honors Program recognized eleven students graduating with honors in the college, four students graduating with honors in the university, and three students who completed all undergraduate requirements and will enter ULM’s Pharmacy program.

The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program attended the annual meeting of the National Collegiate Honors Council in Chicago, IL from November 8-11. Dr. Joshua Stockley, Director of the ULM Honors Program, was joined by five students –Grace Gunder (Senior, Biology, Elizabeth), Shreya Adhikari (Junior, Nursing, Nepal), Kaitlyn Apperley (Junior, Pre-Pharmacy, Monroe), George Khawas (Sophomore, Computer Science, Nepal), Noah Stephan (Sophomore, Biology, Monroe).

ULM Honors Program attends the annual meeting of the National Society for Minorities in Honors

The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program attended the annual meeting of the National Society for Minorities in Honors Conference on October 25-27, in Fayetteville, AR hosted by the University of Arkansas. The theme of the conference was “Why Honors? The Value of an Honors Education for Students From Underrepresented Backgrounds.”

The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program attended the annual meeting of the National Collegiate Honors Council in Dallas, TX from November 2-6. Dr. Joshua Stockley, Director of the ULM Honors Program, was joined by six students – Caitlyn Cullen (Senior, Political Science), Grace Gunder (Senior, Biology), Jodi Bourgeois (Senior, Pre-Pharmacy), George Khawas (Freshman, Computer Science), Beau Benoit (Junior, Toxicology), and Tristan Sonnier (Senior, Medical Lab Sciences).
