Kylie Aldridge of Grace Creek, Volleyball and softball, thank you so much for taking the time to join me today. Um Just how would you kind of sum up your your junior year of athletics in general? Like Grey s Creek, it was a lot different than the past two years. Um um It was a lot better. We came together a lot more this year because of having seasons cut short last year and losing a lot of players. Um I think from a valuable standpoint we stepped up and we played good and we held it down as a team, and then from a software standpoint we did amazing. The five-petaled flowers in the cover crop field threw me off the scent of canola.
A broad, gently rolling field of brilliantly yellow flowers along the road between Easton and St. Michaels caught my eye - and that of thousands more passing motorists - in recent days.
May on Delmarva. A cover crop that soon - if not already - will likely be plowed under or killed off to make way for corn or soybeans, the two major crops of the peninsula.
