The Government is not keeping people informed about the Malta-Gozo tunnel, said the Nationalist Party in a statement issued on Wednesday.
Chris Said, Opposition Spokesperson for Gozo, noted that there is the need for more public dialogue about Gozo and issues concerning it, such as the tunnel.
He said that important entitiees for Gozo, such as the Parliamentary Committee for Gozo Affairs should be heard by the government. He noted that during a meeting held by the same committee, several non-governmental groups raised a number of relevant questions, which to this day, the government has not yet given explanations about.
