THE Greenock Players pantomime show WILL go ahead this year - oh yes it will.
The thespians had been due to stage their 60th consecutive stage performance until the pandemic arrived, leaving the group down in the dumps.
In true trooper style, they have found a way to stage the eagerly-awaited festive production, by videoing a virtual pantomime instead.
They have managed to combine the traditional with the modern by choosing the same classic tale, Cinderella, as their predecessors performed in 1960.
Sarah-Jayne Gorman, club president, said: We were feeling very sad about not getting our panto this year.
It s something we always look forward to and we know that many members of the community look forward to it too. ....
