5915,120 with a decline of 1.3%. nasdaq and the s&p 500 also ending on the lows of this afternoon this friday, this nasdaq down 36 points, more than 1%, and the s&p giving up 23.5 points, 1.5%. the dow locks in the sixth consecutive gain on the month, however. it certainly gave a lot back in this final hour. courtney reagan covering today s market action. court? thanks, maria. as we see the final trade settle out, it looks like the dow closing down about 204 points here. like you spoke with many of the guests, a lot of this is some profit taking toward the end of the month, but also some of that rebalancing that s going on here as we look at the msci, getting rebalanced here. that did have an effect, especially toward the end, with both volume and volatility. if we look at the s&p for the month, we know that we closed off about 3% from the historic high that we hit earlier in the month. so we had a sell-off, wbut we still had a very strong month overall. if you take a ....
