Dark Matter archives of conspiracy radio's Art Bell at stake in suit

NorthJersey.com
What’s unfolding in a New Jersey court might confound even the late-night radio legend and king of conspiracies Art Bell.
In one corner is David Rubini, a fast-talking on-air talent with a Texas twang, who styles himself a former protégé of Bell’s and his disciple on the radio mic.
Rubini’s nemesis, Michael Marshalek of Hoboken, is a conspiracy-radio fan turned anti-face-mask crusader. Of late, he faces charges for allegedly holding his 5-year-old son captive during a police standoff over COVID restrictions.
At stake is a piece of Bell’s legacy: a collection of the Radio Hall of Famer s final shows before he died in 2018. Rubini claims that Marshalek invested in his online radio venture and then stole Bell s archives. He aims to get them back. ....

Wayne COVID vaccine clinic reopens to general public

The clinic has dispensed 11,128 Moderna shots, including first and second doses.
Numbers released late last week show that the township s adult population of 43,456 is among the most vaccinated in Passaic County, with 46% having received both shots.
Only Ringwood, 47%, and North Haledon, 48%, reported wider segments of the 18-and-up demographic fully vaccinated.
Local health officials also started to inoculate homebound residents with a limited supply of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. They gave 10 of the one-shot doses, as of Tuesday.
To register for the vaccine clinic, visit the township s website.

Presented by Pre-K Our Way
Good Tuesday morning!
Brent Spiner has made his determinations. Or maybe it was pressure from other states. But with New Jersey s COVID-19 positivity rate steadily decreasing, Gov. Murphy announced a joint plan with New York and Connecticut to lift most capacity restrictions in a couple weeks (after Cuomo beat him to the punch with his own announcement, and a long time after Connecticut). ....

Four New Jerseyans who police say were part of a ring responsible for more than 80 burglaries across the state have been arrested.
In a press release, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said Keith Perry, 38, of Teaneck; Porsche Brown, 29, of Lodi; Gregory Lewis, 37, of Teaneck; and Kay Brown (unrelated to Porsche Brown), 23, of Paterson are suspected of being connected to at least 16 of the burglaries in Morris, Bergen, Essex, Somerset, Passaic, and Union counties.
Members of the burglary ring typically force their way through doors in the afternoon or early evening, stealing cash, jewelry and other valuables from the master bedroom and/or other areas of the residence, the Attorney General s Office said. Eighty-four burglaries occurred between October 2020 and March 2021 in Morris, Bergen, Essex, Somerset, Passaic, Monmouth, Middlesex and Union counties and southern New York state, with more than $500,000 in money, jewelry and valuables stolen. ....
