A softer than estimated US inflation number has triggered a fall in the greenback and raised golds heaven appeal. It has also lifted hopes that the Fed is unlikely to raise interest rates further.
The December gold futures were trading at Rs 60134 per 10 gram, up by Rs 23 or 0.04% from the Wednesday closing price. Meanwhile, the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 72,183 per kg, higher by Rs 189 or 0.26%.
The December gold futures were trading at Rs 59,604 per 10 gram, down by Rs 148 or 0.25% from the Thursday closing price. Meanwhile, the December silver futures were trading at Rs 69,231 per kg, lower by Rs 801 or 1.14%.
On Comex, gold futures were trading at $1,951.30 per troy ounce on Friday, down by $6.50 or 0.33% while silver futures were trading at $22.545, lower by $0.183 or 0.810%.
MCX December gold futures were trading at Rs 59,901 per 10 gram, up by Rs 108 or 0.18% from the Thursday closing price. Meanwhile, the December silver futures were trading at Rs 70,350 per kg, lower by Rs 700 or 0.99%.
