ISLAMABAD: The PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday said the federal budget if passed in the present form would bring a storm of worst price hike and inflation with increase in electricity and gas tariffs and indirect taxation.
Taking part in the budget debate, Ahsan Iqbal pointed out that reservations of the opposition parties regarding increased budget deficit, non-realistic revenue collection targets and increasing inflation as a result of measures proposed by the government always came true in the last three years. âOur apprehensions regarding mini-budget after announcement of the annual budget also came true during tenure of the present government,â he said.
