Ford announces bid for Alton city council seat

ALTON Patty Ford on Tuesday officially announced her campaign as an alderman for Alton’s 7th Ward.
Ford and Nate Keener are vying April 6 to succeed retiring Alton Alderman David Boulds in the 7th Ward.
A lifelong resident of Alton, Ford graduated from Alton High School in 1973 and attended Lewis & Clark Community College. She has 20 years of experience in finance with area financial institutions, including Godfrey State Bank, the Bank of Alton, Wedge Bank and Liberty Bank.
She has spent the last 25 years serving the Alton school district during which she worked with children with special needs and now is secretary for Lovejoy Elementary School. ....
