Willoughby Hills mayor sees team effort despite coronavirus challenges

Responding to the novel coronavirus was the norm for not only the city of Willoughby Hills, but for all of the surrounding communities.Â
I think it s been truly a team effort between the council, the department heads and the administration, said Mayor Andy Gardner. I think we were one of the first communities in Lake County to put a business grant program out there to help businesses with cleaning and disinfecting supplies.
In addition, grants given out to the city s apartment complexes, where people are sharing elevators, lobbies and laundry rooms, still stand out in preventing the spread of the coronavirus. ....
