Facing multiple obstacles since it was initially proposed nearly 23 years ago, the opening of the new Glickman Hillel Center is a testament to our community’s resilience and fortitude and a beacon of hope for the future.
Adjacent to the UC San Diego campus, the Beverly and Joseph Glickman Hillel Center, a state-of-the-art, 6,500-square-foot facility, will host Jewish holiday experiences, Jewish learning and community activities, and will serve as the headquarters for the university’s Jewish student organizations.
Following years of legal challenges, Hillel of San Diego will open the $18.7 million Beverly and Joseph Glickman Hillel Center – a long-anticipated center for Jewish students and the entire community adjacent to the UC San Diego campus.
