An inmate with the N.C. Department of Corrections who escaped from the Marion Correctional Institution in McDowell County has been caught in Buncombe County.
Law enforcement officers are searching in Asheville for a N.C. Department of Corrections inmate who walked away from a worksite off Old Glenwood Road near Marion.
The final phase will see the construction of the Chestnut water main, and will require some drilling and boring work to connect the new water main to existing piping.
