A kayaker going down the river late thursday afternoon. Officials couldnt look for the body until friday because of the weather and poor light. A Dakota County sheriffs patrol boat found the body just south of the homer boat ramp. And identified it as 32 year old robert galvin. Whod been reported missing last sunday. An autopsy showed galvin had drowned and hed been in the water for a few days.
