A BUSY road in the South Side of Glasgow will be closed as part of a project to improve the water mains network. A stretch of Mosspark Boulevard, from its junction with Bellahouston Drive to its junction with Corkerhill Road, will be closed from June 1 for around three weeks. Local access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained during the work, and diversions for road users will be in place. The closure will enable Scottish Water to carry out pipe installation work as part of the Glasgow Resilience Project, which involves the installation of seven miles of new pipes to connect the Glasgow area’s water network and the system in Ayrshire.
