Christine Ohlman, known as the Beehive Queen for her mile-high teased and lacquered blond hair, began her recording career at age 16 with a New Haven group called Black Band, and she hasn’t stopped singing and writing songs since.
Ohlman tours relentlessly with her band Rebel Montez (Cliff Goodwin, Lorne Entress, and Michael Colbath). “I love traveling and staying in historic hotels,” Ohlman said. “We are touring two or three weeks at a time.” ....
