San Francisco police along with FBI agents have shut down a neighborhood after finding chemicals used to make explosives.Police say they were called to the Candlestick RV park on Gilman Avenue just after 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2021.
The San Francisco Police Department discovered chemicals to make explosives near an RV park Friday night.
On Jan. 15 2021 at approximately 5:11pm, we responded to the 600 block of Gilman Ave to assist Federal Agents with an investigation. FBI agents on scene located chemicals used to make explosives, the police department announced on Twitter. ....

A San Francisco man has been arrested on suspicion of trying to make an explosive device after threatening chemicals were found at a mobile home park near the former Candlestick Park, police said Saturday.
FBI agents found the chemicals used to make explosives Friday afternoon at the Candlestick RV Park on the 600 block of Gilman Avenue, according to the San Francisco Police Department. Nearby residents were evacuated “out of an abundance of caution,” police said, but no explosion occurred.
A man living in one of the recreational vehicles was detained Friday. He has since been arrested and identified as Kyle Matthew Folsom, 37, according to police. ....
