We are here at the prologue of rise up, stonewall and the lbgtq rights movement. Stonewall was an event in the summer of 1969 of an uprising of a gay bar that propelled forward the lbgtq rights movement. This is where we tell the story of how ordinary americans used the First Amendment freedoms, press, speech, assembly, religion to advocate for change and change society.
