North Brunswick Library announces June adult programs
Using a Grid for Drawing with April Zay on June 7 at 7 p.m.
Participants in this virtual workshop will learn how to create and use a grid to enlarge drawings or make accurate drawings from photographs. You’ll need a printout or photocopy of a photograph you wish to draw. Any size is fine, but preferably between 4″x6″ and 8″x10″. Printouts can be black and white or color.
You’ll also need the following supplies: a pencil, paper and a ruler.

Each challenge costs $3 per participant.
After completing each challenge, submit photos and the completed form in order to collect gear.
Details on each challenge will be announced.
For the first challenge, exercise your mind and muscles during the Pulda Farm Trivia & Play Trail.
Follow the trail on a self-guided excursion with activity stations.
Submit a proof of play by April 22 to receive the first Tour de Parks prize: a USA mask.
Participants can register for one event at a time, or choose the Spring Summer Total Tour de Parks option and commit to all five.

North Brunswick Library programs include dogwood painting, cooking demo, job search tips
The North Brunswick Public Library announced its March 2021 virtual adult programs.
A dogwood branch drawing class will be held at 7 p.m. March 1. This virtual drawing lesson will focus on contour lines. Participants will observe a dogwood flower and learn how to draw it petal by petal. Then participants will have the option to outline the drawing using a thin waterproof marker. To finalize the picture, add a touch of color using watercolors (optional). Supplies needed include pencils, thin black markers, heavyweight paper and watercolor.
