Like clockwork, chain restaurants rolled out the red carpet for pumpkin spice this week. But Roots Eatery got a little more creative with its seasonal menu emphasizing autumnal bliss.
“As our company passed a milestone of over 50 years of being in business, we asked ourselves how we can best ensure that the much-loved brand would last and thrive for another 60 years,” said Nanette Albano-Lane, a granddaughter of Mary Fazio, founder of Mary’s Pizza Shack restaurants.
After 10 years, the Busch Gardens Williamsburg Food and Wine Festival continues to be a highlight of the yearly calendar and warrants a visit during the late spring/early summer.
