At Almond on Royal Poinciana Way, a late afternoon menu debuted this season, in part in response to the pandemic but also to test the waters, co-owner Eric Lemonides said.
Available from 3 to 5 p.m., the menu is called “Inbetweenskis” and has been popular with diners who favor the restaurant’s covered patio.
It features 15 items, including raw bar fare, escargots, Greek salad, lamb meatballs and moules frites.
Larger plates include ricotta cavatelli, a dish often on Almond’s Meatless Monday menu, as well as swordfish served with herb tahini and roasted broccolini.
