QUETTA: A meeting discussed the Covid-19 situation and reviewed arrangements for uninterrupted supply of oxygen to all major hospitals in Balochistan.
The meeting, presided over by Health Secretary Noor-ul-Haq Baloch, ass­essed the oxygen status, plant, storage tanks, ventilators and beds for patients of coronavirus.
The secretary directed the medical superintendents (MS) of all public sector hospitals to ensure uninterrupted supply of oxygen and it was agreed to increase the number of oxygen cylinders and beds in hospitals to deal with any emergencies. ....
