MoE commissions 200 CCP master trainers to train private school teachers

The Ministry of Education (MoE) through the support of the National Council for Curriculum Curriculum and Assessment (NACCA) in collaboration with the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) have commissioned 200 Master Trainers to train all private school teachers on the implementation of Common Core Programme (CCP) in the country.
The incident happened on Friday 22nd January 2021 at the closing ceremony of the 5-day Residential CCP Master Training Programme Workshop for Private Schools which was held in Accra at the Atomic Energy Commission.

Provide clear guidelines on reopening of schools – GNACOPS to gov't – Ghana Visions

The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) is asking government to provide clear guidelines for the reopening of schools in the country.
In an interview with Alpha Beta’s Head of Operations, Dr Naomi Agyepong said due to no standard guide for reopening of schools, it has led to inconsistencies among various schools.
“We had to employ a lot of guesswork and try to copy what has happened in other countries. Alpha Beta has had a plan from last year which we still had to modify a little bit more to accommodate the current circumstances. The challenge is that without a standard guide, even engaging with parents can sometimes become a bit difficult because all schools will not be acting consistently,” she said. ....
