A US judge has dismissed a bankruptcy case involving the National Rifle Association (NRA), leaving it to face a lawsuit that could see the powerful organisation dissolved.
In a written statement, the judge said gun-rights group did not file for bankruptcy in good faith.
It declared bankruptcy in January.

Gun sales have skyrocketed in the United States since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. As of the end of November, 35.4 million firearm background checks had been completed since the start of the year, more than in any other full year since state by state tracking began in 1998.
