Catholics For Housing Honors Manassas Community Member


She received the Father Gerald Creedon Housing Award, the organization s top recognition. It s named after Gerry Creedon, who founded the housing provider in the 1970s.
It was an extraordinary honor to receive that award, because Father Creedon – he put so much out there for people to do.
The award was presented by Former CFH Vice President Charlie Einsmann, who felt a special connection to the recognition.
Creedon introduced Einsmann to the non-profit and supported him when he was considering purchasing the East End Mobile Home Park.
With his support, I got the rest of the board members to agree … With Helen getting the award and me presenting it, it just came full circle, Einsmann said. That was kind of nice. ....

power that enables him also to bring all things. . we who are very privileged to watch the mass this morning had to be touched by the wonderful thought played by the younger generation of kennedys, the warm and very personal tribute in the elegies of teddy s son and even that of the president of the united states whose friendship was so powerful. this made our farewell to senator kennedy and unforgettable. on learning of his death last wednesday morning, tributes to his half century of leadership in american life and politics, may i offer my own short on again. they called him the land of the senate. indeed, that is what he was. his zeal for what he believed made the difference in our nation s life. sometimes, we who were his friends and had great affection for him, we would get mad at him for what we believe was the wrong side of the issue. but we always knew and we were always touched by his fight for the underdog. his legacy will surely place them in the dozen or so ....
