LEGAZPI CITY - Over 3,000 agrarian legal cases in Bicol have been resolved from January to August this year, the Department of Agrarian Reform in the region (DAR-5) said on Thursday. Geri Buensalida, DAR-5 spokesperson, in a message, said this was noted after the recently conducted annual regional assessment of the legal sector. Based on the report, 3,044 of the 5,582 agrarian legal cases targeted for the third quarter of 2022 have been resolved. Lawyer Leo Miguel Ramos, officer-in-charge Assistant Regional Director for Administration and Legal Chief of DAR-Bicol, said he hopes to maintain the region's good performance as indicated by the formative evaluation last month. "We've done well [in implementing the agrarian justice delivery program]. Hopefully, we can keep it up," Ramos said in a statement.
