Georgetown District High School was the setting for a celebration of a tiny home built onsite this year. Also showcased was the partnership with Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga-Dufferin which is responsible for the Youth Skilled Trades Program, an innovative educational initiative that gives students hands-on construction training.
Georgetown voters will have the final say on several multimillion dollar school bonds this weekend. If passed, they would create several new schools and start major renovation projects.
