NOVI, Mich. U.S. Petroleum Partners LLC closed on its transaction for Tri-Lakes Petroleum LLC. Moving forward as one entity named USPP-Tri-Lakes LLC, the company s focus will remain simplifying fuel supply for retailers, wholesalers and governmental entities, as well as commercial, farm and residential customers. The deal will utilize U.S. Petroleum s existing pipeline terminal and dealer portfolio in southwest Michigan and northern Ohio. The Tri-Lakes Management team will remain in place. Robert E. ‘Bob’ Wedemeyer LELAND Robert “Bob” Wedemeyer, 82, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. He was born June 9, 1938, in Baltimore City, Maryland, the son of Ella Naomi Wedemeyer and Norman August Wedemeyer. He was preceded in death by brothers, William and Norman Wedemeyer. Bob graduated from Southern High School in Baltimore City and continued with his education at Catonsville Community College. Bob served his country as a young man in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge. His career followed a few paths, beginning with the Baltimore City Police Department, and ending as an infrastructure supervisor with Anne Arundel County. His greatest accomplishment was that of a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family always came first. His friends were a close second, as he was someone who never met a stranger. ....
