There was quite a stir in the quiet village of Tableland this morning, after a dead ocelot was found on the side of the road.
Commuters slowed down and took photos while some stopped. Villagers also ventured out of their homes to see the ocelot. The police also were on the scene.
Onlookers speculated that the animal may have been knocked down while crossing the road, or its body dumped either by its owner or an animal trafficker after it died. However, a worker claimed that the occupant of a car dumped the ocelot on the side of the road on Wednesday (January 6th).
