Our CorrespondentKohima, June 19 (EMN): Along with the rest of the world, St. Francis de Sales (SFS) parish celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday in Kohima town. Extending greetings on the occasion during the Angami mass, Rev. Fr. Mathew Mhabemo, SFS parish priest, acknowledged fathers for being exceptional fathers to their family and lauded them for their continuous support and contributions to the church. Expressing happiness on the huge turnout of fathers, Fr. Mathew reminded them of the need to attend mass regularly in the similar way in order to be “fed by the body and blood of Jesus.” ‘Transformation takes place in our lives without awareness while our love is renewed when we partake in the Eucharist,’ which commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples, the priest reiterated adding “Every time we receive Jesus, we become part of Him just as we become part of the food we eat.” Earlier, four masses were also celebrated on the occasio ....
