The university of virginias center for Civil War History hosted this event. Allen guelzo is the third professor of Gettysburg College where he serves as civil war curator. He did his undergrad ate at the university of pennsylvania where he focused on the history of religion. He also holds a master of divinity degree. Jen murray is currently an assistant teaching assistant professor in the department of history at Oklahoma State university and she is, as you know, an expert in the civil war and also a specialist in military history in general. She has, i would say the full publication resume, the most important book in the most recent, entitled on a great battlefield, the making, management and memory of Gettysburg National park, published in 2013 by the university of tennessee press. She is currently working on a biography, general George Gordon meade that will hopefully be published in the civil war america series.
