pennsylvania and senator rob portman. john boehner s appointment, jeb hensarling, dave camp of michigan as well as chairman upton of michigan. republicans have come out, angry about patty murray s selection, and as you pointed out the president was involved, according to jay carney, with the collection from the democrats. well, one of the reasons why republicans are upset about the patty murray appointment is because she s also on the democratic senatorial campaign committee. a lot of people saying, look, that looks bad. she shouldn t be doing both. it s a conflict of interest. she should stop financing and raising money. jay carney today this is a little issue. she s sitting on a committee being charged with dealing with the massive deficit that we have here in the united states. he says it s a non-issue, that the president will not be calling for her to stop raising money or to step down from that committee. so that certainly is getting a lot of attention right now. ....

Like, what? it came out of left field didn t it? conan o brien is going to tbs. not fox as so many people were speculating. let s be clear. there were talks with fox this entire time. that is not untrue. however, it believes came in. conan s manager is saying just in the last couple weeks tbs came in and put this deal and offer together. conan tweeted the following. he said this is good news. i ll be doing a show on tv starting in november. the bad news i ll be playing rudy on the all new cosby show. he is keeping a sense of humor. what s really interesting isn t just how quickly tbs put this deal together but that george lopes has given his blessing to conan o brien because conan will be taking george lopes s spot at 11:00. george will have to move to that midnight hour. sounds a lot like the situation that almost happened with conan and jay leno except conan said, no, i m not going to move to that time slot. so george lopes says this is the best lead-in i could possibly ....
