KEY ACTION Village officials recognized issues affecting village employees because of COVID-19 when council met.
Mayor Pat Cadle reviewed some of those issues with council members and Heather Stein-Wells asked if the village could help employees who don’t have sick time but are off work because of COVID-19 or other circumstances because of the virus. Currently, employees must take sick time if they are off work because of circumstances relating to COVID-19 but not all employees have sick time.
In other action:
• David Shepherd, chairperson of the building and grounds committee, reported the village is one step closer to sending out proposals for design and construction at the new administration building (formerly Systems III) on Bridge Street.
