You will probably even get rained on if you go over the Golden Gate Bridge or if you are making your way through the marin headlines. But that is not a good example of what of it is like for most of us. It is very thick. The bridge but it is really localized. If we take a look at the top of the Sales Force Tower and look out across the other bridge, it is much more spotty. It is patchy at best and most of us are actually waking up to clear skies today. The nomination of Brett M Kavanaugh to be an associate justice of the Supreme Court of United States in confirmed. And with that vote in the senate, its ended a hearing process that left the nation bitterly divided. Nominee Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual violence, something that he stronged denied. His margin of victory was the closest for a top court seat since 1881. With his family looking on, kavanaugh was immediately sworn in, taking a constitutional oath and judicial oath. Another ceremonial swearingin is expected later this week. The u. S. President celebrated his confirmation by rallying his base. Reporter Justice Kavanaughs confirmation was the first topic out of President Trumps mouth during his rally here in topeka, kansas. At 3 00 a. M. On the u. S. East coast, we are learning more about the list of witnesses to be interviewed by the fbi in the probe of Brett Kavanaugh. Apparently neither judge kavanaugh nor his accuser Christine Blasey ford are on that list. The president continues to insist, though, the fbi has free reign to speak to whomever they choose while conducting this oneweek limited probe. But sources tell cnn the white House Counsel is working with the Senate Republicans behind the scenes to keep the investigation narrow and to keep it focused. All this comes as a former Yale University class made is claiming that kavanaugh has not told the truth about his drinking, saying in part, this, quote, at yale, kavanaugh and i i can speak to other times. Brett was a frequent drinker and a heavy drinker. I know because especially in our first two classes of college i often drank with him.
