PUTNEY â Landmark College conferred an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree to Jim Baucom during a ceremony for retiring faculty and staff, held on May 22 on the lower campus grounds.
Baucom was a full professor in the School of Education when he officially retired from teaching at the close of the spring 2020 semester. He was appointed professor emeritus at that time, but plans for a formal ceremony honoring his accomplishments, as well as those of several retirees, had to be put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Philadelphia baroque ensemble Kleine Kammermusik augments Piffaro s renaissance shawms, dulcians, and lute with their oboes, bassoons, and harpsichord, tracing the development of the fugue from the 15th century to J.S. Bach.
