AN elderly woman has called for more public seating to be made available in Henley after she was denied a seat at a building society branch.

In March this year, the NHS very sensibly opened a standalone eye clinic in the town, in order to relieve some of the pressures on the eye infirmary at Dorset County Hospital.
On completion of my examination, eye scans and visual fields test, the results were immediately and carefully reviewed by the optometrist, who told me that, as this was my first appointment with the clinic, I should return in four months’ time for duplicate tests so that they might begin to establish a monitoring record. ....
