Christopher Record, who is assistant superintendent of schools in Gorham, will become Cape Elizabeth’s next superintendent effective July 1. Record’s appointment was announced in a statement Thursday by the Cape Elizabeth School Department. The town’s School Board hired Record, who will succeed Donna Wolfram. ....

The proposal, which has not been finalized, calls for high and middle school students to alternate Wednesdays in person.
