London, KY, USA / SAM 103.9 FM WWEL | Today s Pop Hits Mar 12, 2021 9:53 AM Laurel County Sheriff John Root pulled a car over on North Laurel Road resulting in two drug arrests. The driver, 32-year-old Gentry Lee Jones of Lily, was found to be operating on a suspended license. During the roadside investigation Sheriff Root was joined by K-9 Deputy Jake Miller and Bailiff Paige Vanhook, who found Jones and passenger, 39-year-old Rachel Doan of London, in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Jones also had a syringe. Both were charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Jones was also charged with operating on suspended or revoked license and failure to wear seatbelts. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center. ....
