Posted: Fri Jan 15, 2021 4:37 pm Fairly same-y list, but overall some good choices (although Appare-Ranman in just AOTY is super weird). I still maintain that the CR English VA nominees are terrible. Once again, its only LA actors (which already looks pretty bad, CR) and there are a couple performances in there that are only for one or two episodes (like really. the one old dude from Babylonia? I didn t even particularly like the Babylonia dub because the script was so restricted, but there were still some decent main performances). The nominees here feel like such an afterthought compared to the JPN VA nominees (which I thought were all pretty solid), and I can t tell if its because they don t have enough judges who actually watch, let alone like, English dubs outside of the occasional one on Netflix or the judges overall just don t care. ....
