Two adjacent church buildings in West Highland have a new owner.
Paul Tamburello, the Denver developer who has become more known for his ice cream company in recent years, last week purchased the churches at 3401 W. 29th Ave. and 2945 N. Julian St.
The structures are separated by an alley.

“They’re just two really beautiful buildings that need to be preserved, and I think repurposed in the most creative way to be a community asset,” Tamburello told BusinessDen. “What that means is yet to be figured out, and a conversation with the community.”
