Owatonna s Gem Days celebration hits full stride Thursday, July 22 through Sunday, July 25. Activities began last weekend. An information release from the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and the Owatonna Business Partnership states, Each summer residents of Owatonna dedicate some time to celebrate our community and all of the treasures that surround us. This celebration has grown throughout the years to include things like Crazy Days Sidewalk Sales, kiddie parades and concerts in the park. These event have become treasures themselves and we now celebrate all of them as Owatonna GEM DAYS.
