Mastercard and TOMRA have today announced they are introducing digital payment capabilities to make reusing takeaway packaging faster and simpler.
Using Mastercard Send, consumers will simply tap.
Customers can now return their qualified reusable take away packaging to Tomra Reuse collection points and automatically receive money back via their linked credit card.
