Imo government recovers multi-billion naira estate allegedly owned by Okorocha's wife

The government of Imo State, in line with its 3Rs mantra of reconstruction, rehabilitation and recovery, has confiscated a multi-billion naira estate, Royal Palm Estate, allegedly owned by the wife of the former Governor of Imo state, Nkechi Okorocha.
DAILY POST gathered that the estate located along Akachi road in Owerri, the Imo State capital, was earlier singled out as part of the former governor’s property allegedly built with Imo State money.
According to the judicial commission of enquiry on recovery of lands and other related matters, set up by the immediate past Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, the structure was certified to be reclaimed by Imo government after full-scale investigation on the authenticity of Okorocha’s ownership of the estate. ....

The Yoruba Summit Group (YSG) and Chief Executive Officer of Ovation Media Group, Chief Dele Momodu, have intervened in the dispute between a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, and the Senior Pastor of the Citadel Global Community, Lagos State, Tunde Bakare.
The YSG Spokesperson, Gboyega Adejumo, and Momodu on Wednesday reportedly held a meeting with the two parties where a truce was reached.
Fani-Kayode confirmed the peace meeting on Wednesday, noting that his “respect for Pastor Bakare remains high.” ....
