Today republican Chuck Grassley, the chair of the powerful Senate Judiciary committee announced his panel will vote on a bill to protect mueller potentially as soon as tomorrow. That puts grassley on a direct Collision Course with the Senate Majority leader who says he will not advance the bill to a final vote. Theres no indication that mueller is going to be fired. I dont think the president is going to do that. Obviously a number of your colleagues fear it enough to say it should be in there. Im the one who decides what we take to the floor.
