ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) The Spencerport Fire District is mourning the sudden death of David Resch, the fire district s commissioner and chairman.
Spencerport Fire District Chief Tom Clark says Resch apparently suffered a medical emergency while driving home on Gillett Road in Ogden Thursday night from a Board of Commissioners meeting.
Clark released a statement Friday which read, in part: On behalf of the entire Spencerport Fire District organization, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Commissioner Resch. We also appreciate the quick response and partnership of the Ogden Police Department and Gates Volunteer Ambulance Service during the incident.
