Old-fashioned organ adds sound to sparkling new ballpark

Brian Miller was neither born in Gastonia nor did he grow up here. But, thanks to what he terms the greatest set of grandparents in the world, Gastonia, particularly west Gastonia, holds a very large place in his heart. And, when the Honey Hunters open their Atlantic League professional baseball season at the new FUSE stadium over Memorial Day weekend, area residents will receive two gifts from Miller. One is an authentic 1949 Hammond organ which he has given to the ballpark. The second will be his playing of the organ that weekend and on select nights during the remainder of the season, bringing a bit of old-fashioned fun to a sparkling new ballpark.
