San Diego-based SpineZone, founded by two orthopedic surgeons to help people reduce back and neck pain without undergoing surgery, said Thursday that it has raised $12 million in a Series A round of venture capital funding.
Polaris Partners and Providence Ventures led the round, with participation from Martin Ventures. The company will use the money to expand its geographic footprint currently concentrated in San Diego and Orange counties into other cities in the West.
