UNION Mark Sprackland and Rick Gowell have purchased The Common Market in Union.
The sale happened on June 29.
Sprackland said he and Gowell are so grateful to former owner Gary Sukeforth and the local community for their help and support.
The two have many years of experience working with grocery stores and markets.
The Common Market will continue to serve the community as a market.
The biggest challenge the new owners have faced so far, Sprackland said, has been obtaining the ability to accept EBT/SNAP benefits. They hope to be able to accept them soon. ....
