Enid Man Found Trapped In Trash Truck, Arrested On Complaint Of Public Intoxication

Enid police arrested a man found trapped in a garbage truck early Monday morning.
The man was taken to the Garfield County Jail and booked as “John Doe.” According to police, the suspect has not been identified due to being asleep most of the afternoon.
The driver of the garbage truck called 911 after hearing someone inside the back of the truck around 5 a.m. at the McDonalds on Garriott Road in Enid.
Once officers arrived, the Enid Fire Department followed suit.
“Do you guys have any suggestions on how to get this guy down this ladder once we get it up here?” an Enid officer is heard on bodycam asking firefighters. “He’s combative.” ....
