My fight has been to help educate people on this magnificent plant that has a lot to offer. Reporter state senator mike folmer is push legislation that legalizes marijuana for medical use. It is in committee but will be voted on in the next two weeks. From there supporters are optimistic it could be law. Military forces are going back to iraq two and a half years after president obama pulled the last troops out, he announced today hes sending as many as 300 special forces back in. The president said the u. S. Will be prepared for what he called targeted military strikes, but he vowed u. S. Troops are not going back into combat. The president said he is taking these actions in the interest of Americas National security. Morning. Turns out, the fire broke out right next to a Homeland Security officer who helped arrest the guy scene here. He was the driver of the truck. Witnesses say the 32yearold was dancing around with a can of gasoline as if to taunt firefighters. The man may have deliberately set his truck on fire just after 8 a. M. He was taken into custody on a psychiatric hold before firefighters put out the flames. The strange incident happened in the middle of rush hour causing this extreme one. No one else was injured. And all lanes were reopened by 9 a. M. A man died this morning when an air compressor at an oakland tire shop fell on him. We are told he was 65 years old and the father of the owner of the a p tire service. Its not clear if he worked at the tire shop. Cal osha is investigating and the store is still open.
