The Uttar Pradesh Government on Friday told the Supreme Court that it has withdrawn recovery notices issued against anti-CAA protestors to recover the damage caused to public properties.
The Supreme Court on Friday directed that properties of anti-CAA protesters, which were attached by Uttar Pradesh government should be restored to them, and also if they had paid money to the authorities concerned for the alleged damages should .
Apex court was hearing a plea seeking quashing of the recovery notices issued by UP admin to recover damage caused to public properties in connection with protests against CAA.
